Amateur Categories

All amateur competitors are welcome. Debut, novice, open, masters with crossovers. One current NGA amateur card will cover them all.

Amateur Cross-overs
(entering more than one amateur category)

An amateur "cross-over" is when an amateur competitor wants to enter more than one amateur category. For example, a competitor may enter the Novice category, if eligible, and also elect to crossover into the Open category and compete in that category as well. The competitor will pay the Amateur Entry Fee for the Novice category and then an Amateur Cross-over Fee for the Open category. A competitor may enter as many additional categories as they qualify for with additional cross-over fees for each category.

Pro Categories

Pro competitors may enter as many categories, if eligible, but will pay the Pro Entry Fee for each category entered. (NGA allows pro crossover entries as long as you hold a current NGA Pro card in each category entered).

Registration Fees

Amateur Entry Fee (1st category) $70.00

Amateur Cross-Over Fee (per each additional category) $40.00

Pro Entry Fee (per each category) $150.00

Awards

Pro Categories only (Cash Prizes): -  Top 3 win cash prizes (Prize money will be determined by how many participants are in each category. The total funds collected from entry fees for that category will be divided among the top 3 finishers.

Amateur -  Awards for top 5 placements in each category

Drug Tested Event

This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the NGA Drug Testing Guidelines in order to participate. Prior to registering competitors should review these procedures and the list of banned substances, which are posted on the National Gym Association website
